On June 10, 2023 China Yichang Chaotianhou Natural Waters Drifting Race kicked off, attracting over 2,000 domestic and foreign contestants.

　　The participants of the race include professionals, students from colleges and universities and amateurs. 26 teams consisting of the professionals from 10 countries and regions including China, Australia, Spain and Portugal participated in the 6km speed race while the groups of college and university students and the amateurs rivaled each other in the 6km leisure race.

　　The drifting course is located in the core area of the Gaolan Grand Canyon Resort, with a length of 6 kilometers and a drop of 148 meters. 10 drifting races have been held in this course since 2012.
