　　At the National Dragon Boat Training and Competition Base in Xujiachong Harbor, Zigui County, the last team of a 10-seat dragon boat in Open Group crossing the finish line on the morning of June 23 signified the perfect ending of the three-day competition.

　　In the three days, more than 350 dragon boat athletes of 14 teams from 9 countries and 3 continents have joined in the competition, showing their aggressiveness and passion.

　　Lu Weihong, Chairman of the ICF Dragon Boat Committee, said: “The Qu Yuan Culture and the Dragon Boat Culture are very profound, and the competition held in Qu Yuan’s Hometown has proved to be a great success.” He gave full recognition to the preparation, venue, and services of the event. He also expressed the hope of better dissemination of Dragon Boat Culture as well as the spirit of Dragon Boating Sports over the world.
