In the lush and green sightseeing tea gardens of Hubei Yiling National Modern Agricultural Industrial Park in Luofu Village, Taipingxi Town, Yiling District, the tea farmers are busy picking summer tea leaves. In recent years, the diversely-distributed tea industry has been developed in Yiling District through establishing the Three Gorges Tea Valley and the World Tea Tourism Town and developing the continuous harvesting mode of collecting low-mountain tea leaves for early-market and high-mountain tea leaves for high-quality production in spring, summer, and autumn. Currently, the tea gardens in the district cover an area of 15,533 hectares, with an annual production of 35,400 tons of dried tea leaves.
