On July 9, the workers of China Railway Third Bureau Group worked in the scorching sun at the construction site of Maoping Port Diverting Railway of the Three Gorges Terminal in Zigui County to ensure the in-time completion of the project.

　　The Maoping Port Diverting Railway connects the west end of Yichang South Station of Yichang-Wanzhou Railway and the Maoping Port of Zigui County, with a total length of 39.59 kilometers. When the railway is completed and opened to traffic, it will further optimize the comprehensive transportation system of the Three Gorges, and improve the cross-dam transfer speed and transportation efficiency of the Three Gorges Project.
