Recently, at the construction site of the Zhanghe Extra-large Bridge in Jin’gang Village, Miaoqian Town, Dangyang County, 51 builders from the China Railway 24th Bureau Group worked during off-peak hours in the high-temperature period to ensure the construction progress. It is estimated that the 100-meter continuous beam will be connected by the end of October.

　　The Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu High-speed Railway is one of the key high-speed rail lines in China’s “Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal Railway” network. The Zhanghe Extra-large Bridge is a crucial project in the Dangyang section of the Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu High-speed Railway, with a total length of 14.981 kilometers.
