On July 12th, a large number of cargo ships waiting at the anchorage area of the Luojia River in Zhijiang County to pass through the Three Gorges Project shiplock presented a beautiful scene in the background of lucid waters and lush mountains. During the first half of this year, the navigation through the Three Gorges shiplock has run safely and steadily, and has facilitated the passage of 4,929 passengers and 81.48 million tons of cargo through the shiplock, with an increase of 9% compared with the same period of the previous year.
