On October 20, the cogongrass flowers on the shore of the Xiling Gorge of the Yangtze River in Yiling District were swaying in the wind, and the cargo vessels were at anchorage in Letianxi Town waiting for passage through the ship locks of the Three Gorges Dam. In recent years, Yichang has actively implemented the philosophy of “Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets” to push forward the protection of the Yangtze River and enhance the protection of the ecological environment of rivers and reservoirs, which effectively improved water quality and ecological environment as well as the living environment and ecological conservation capacity, and greatly promoted the mutual facilitation and benefit of ecological civilization construction and economic and social development.
