The Yuquan River as a primary tributary on the right bank of the Juzhang River in Dangyang County has created a beautiful ecological picture. In 2022, as one of the third batch of national pilot counties for water system connectivity and the construction of beautiful water towns, Dangyang County selected the Yuquan River and its connected Baili Changqu water system as the pilot area to create a “Shangri-La,” fully utilizing the natural ecological advantages to promote local development.
