At 0:00 on June 28, the Yichang East Toll Station of Jingyi Expressway opened to the public, featuring a total of 11 lanes, including 5 inbound and 6 outbound. Located at the intersection of the Jingyi Expressway and the Xiazhou Avenue, the construction serves as a new expressway entrance to and exit for Yichang City. In the future it will facilitate the connection between expressways, urban highways, and national highways, easing the traffic pressure on the Three Gorges Avenue and the Huya Interchange.
