In 2024, Dangyang County made an investment of 120 million yuan to carry out high-standard construction of 710 hectares of farmland in 8 villages, integrating small pieces of farmland into large stretches. Upon completion of the project, the land transfer rate in the renovated area and the supporting rate of main farmland water conservancy facilities will reach 80% and 100% respectively, and the grain production capacity per hectare will rise by 1,500kg.
