The Lotus Festival officially commenced at Yichang Children’s Park on June 27 and will continue through July 10.

　　During the event, the park presents five themed displays highlighting 30 varieties of lotus and water lilies. A collection of 5,000 seasonal potted plants--comprising 3,000 lotuses and 2,000 other ornamental species--has been arranged for public viewing. From June 27 to July 20, visitors may obtain stamps through purchases at either Yichang Children’s Park or Grand Ocean Department Store, which can be redeemed for Ferris wheel tickets.(Reporter/Wang Jingjing, Correspondents/Qian PingandHan Dan)
