
On October 24, the 2025 “Yichang Orange” Production and Marketing Conference was held in Yiling District, drawing over 70 merchants and company representatives from across China.
The marketing activity saw on-site transactions of 216,000 tons of oranges. A Russian buyer representative noted that the conference significantly improved product selection efficiency and supply chain stability.
In recent years, Yichang has prioritized its citrus industry, driving high-quality development. In 2025, Yichang’s citrus output is projected to exceed 4.2 million tons, with a total industrial outputvalue surpassing 50 billion yuan. Yichang oranges, listed in China’s Agricultural Brand Catalog, are exported to over ten countries, including Russia, Canada, Kazakhstan and severalSoutheast Asian countries.
