On May 21, the 22nd China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) opened, and Yichang made its appearance with 564 exhibits in 155 categories, showcasing premium cultural tourism resources including the “Two Dams and One Gorge” and the “Changjiangxing-Lanyue” cruise ship. The exhibition area covered six major categories, including intangible cultural heritage creative products, Three Gorges Project-themed cultural creations, painted pottery, tea and others, attracting crowds of visitors. Also, on display were derivative products of the film Gezhi Town(filmed in Yichang) and AI-generated original short dramas. Cultural enterprises from Guangxi, Hong Kong and other places came for business negotiations. During the ICIF, Yichang will promote its tourism routes and hold industrial cooperation negotiations to facilitate cultural tourism connectivity and invite more visitors to Yichang.
